OAKS Senior Secondary

The Future of Education in Sierra Leone: OAKS Launches Senior Secondary School

The OAKS family is proud to announce the opening of our new senior secondary school, a major milestone in our mission to transform education in Sierra Leone. This school opens the door for students to continue their education beyond primary and junior secondary levels, offering the opportunity to achieve A-level qualifications.

Our vision is to empower these students with the skills and knowledge they need to pursue higher education, enter the workforce, or contribute to their communities’ development, fostering a brighter future for generations to come.

Our new Senior Secondary School (SSS) was completed for the 2026/27 school year. Our new Senior Secondary School (SSS) will take its first external exams in June 2027.

A Diverse and Expanding Curriculum

The new senior secondary school at OAKS offers a broad curriculum designed to prepare students for A-level qualifications and future success. Our facilities are unique for Sierra Leone, featuring solar-powered classrooms, a new science lab, and a computer room currently under development. These advancements set OAKS apart, providing resources rarely available in the region.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, these facilities continue to evolve. With your ongoing contributions, we can further expand our offerings, improve resources, and ensure every student receives a high-quality education in a nurturing environment. Together, we’re building a brighter future for Sierra Leone, one student at a time.
