OAKS 2
OAKS Junior Secondary School (JSS) opened September 2013.
We built one extra classroom, JSS1, sharing the same site as the Primary School. Each of the following 2 years we added another class, JSS2 & JSS3.
This was a difficult birth for our NEW JSS Enterprise as EBOLA closed all schools for 2 full terms, 2014/2015. Teachers & pupils worked hard. Our first National Exam, BECE (GCSE) was 2016. Pupils sit 8 subjects.

WHAT A SUCCESS
The NEW premises opened September 2019. A truly beautiful building large, spacious classrooms in a quiet environment.
The hidden bonus:
The Primary School has space to grow and it feels more like an environment for young children to develop.
The Junior Secondary is ‘business-like’, the pupils can embrace their unfolding maturity and potential.

With further funding and donation there is room to continue ‘THE DREAM’ and to embark on Senior Secondary School provision.
There is no facility for 6th Form, in our area of Mendewa.
Bo City schools are completely oversubscribed and overflowing, many with classes of 80+ students.
Our choice will be Faculty of Science & will require the building of 4 further classrooms.
